Outer Island Oysters

Raised in the deep, cold waters of Long Island Sound, our oysters grow strong in constant tidal currents. This high-energy environment shapes oysters with deep-cupped shells perfect for shucking. Born in a hatchery and placed on the farm at just 6 millimeters, they spend their entire lives in open water cages, naturally tumbled by the Sound until they’re ready for harvest.

Oysters are a nutrient-rich food — high in protein, low in calories, and packed with essential vitamins and minerals like zinc, iron, and vitamin B12. They’re also a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart and brain health.
